MiiR x podcast | miiR

One year into my time at MiiR, MiiR cofounders Rebecca and Bryan Papé tapped me to revive MiiR’s podcasting presence. Their request was to come up with an idea for a show through which they could chat with fellow business leaders and share their conversations with the world.

Leveraging the existing branding and reputation of MiiR X events (MiiR’s B2B-focused event franchise), I successfully pitched and launched the MiiR X Podcast, a show targeting MiiR’s B2B audience that brings the energy and insights of MiiR X events straight to listeners’ living rooms, cars, or offices — all year round.

The strategy behind the concept was to tap into MiiR X’s existing audience to build a following for the MiiR X Podcast, funneling traffic from MiiR X events to the podcast and visa versa. As a result, the podcast serves as an additional touchpoint for MiiR to reinforce its relationship with its B2B audience, providing value to them in the form of entertainment and education while positioning itself as a thought leader in the business leadership space.

As Executive Producer of the show, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from ideating on the concept, to conducting story research, to managing the podcast agency, to creating the go-to-market strategy.

True stories of good people | Gofundme

During my tenure at GoFundMe, I had the great honor of working as an Assistant Producer for the company’s podcast True Stories of Good People. In this role, I researched subjects and their stories, formulated interview questions, and even co-wrote an episode with a podcast guest, Brianna Meeks. In 2020, the podcast was nominated for a Shorty Social Good Award. I created a hype video to be included in the podcast’s entry, and it ultimately helped the podcast secure one of the top three finalist spots. Watch the entry video and listen to Brianna’s episode below.
